Welcome, commuter students!

You don’t have to live on campus to be an active part of the Susquehanna community. Commuters are traveling a unique path — you are not only making the journey to school — you are navigating through school at the same time.

Enhance your college experience by connecting with your fellow students, both commuters and residential students. There are many ways to become engaged at Susquehanna University. There is a club or organization that appeals to everyone here. Make a connection with fellow commuters by joining the Commuter Student Organization or follow the SU Commuter Crew on Instagram @sucommutercrew.

Commuter support staff is here to help your transition to college life as smooth as possible. We know it is important for you to feel at home on campus. We know it is important for you to have a sense of belonging. Reach out with any questions, comments or concerns.

Commuter Lounge

The commuter lounge is located on the lower level of the Charles B. Degenstein Campus Center. Enjoy comfortable seating, Wi-Fi and use of a refrigerator, freezer and microwave. Stop by any time of the day when you are on campus.

The Commuter Student Organization also has classroom G08 reserved in Bogar Hall as an additional space for commuters to study and relax in during weekday evenings.

There are also great spaces to relax or study in Blough-Weis Library and the Center for Academic Success (CAS).
