1970 Class Reporter: 1971 Class Reporter: 1972 Class Reporter: After 16 years with General Dynamics, Scott Truver '72 joined Gryphon Technologies LC in November (http://www.GryphonLC.com). Headquartered in Greenbelt, Md., Gryphon Technologies is one of the nation's fastest-growing defense and military firms. The company specializes in systems engineering, logistics, information technology and program management support to customers in government and industry, both in the United States and overseas. Reporting directly to P. J. Braden, Gryphon's president, Truver is establishing a new business area focusing on national/homeland security, defense, naval and maritime studies, analysis and strategic communications/program advocacy support. He continues his "outside" writing and speaking efforts, including a lecture series on the terrorist threat of naval mines and underwater improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to U.S. port and waterways security. He is also the founder and president of One by One, a national organization that helps the church reach out to those who struggle with homosexuality, pornography and sexual abuse.
Class Reporter: Joyce Brown '73 accepted a position with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission in Harrisburg, Pa. 1974 Class Reporter: Meg Shaw '74 Ellacott relocated her business to the beach. After living a fast-paced life in Northern Virginia for 30 years, she's taken the leap and moved to Rehoboth Beach, Del. Ellacott started her own business in trade show and special events management nearly seven years ago. She can be reached at meg@ellashow.com. Steven Kramm '74 was appointed senior vice president of the operations/technology division at the Juniata Valley Bank. He lives in Belleville, Pa. 1975 Class Reporter: Rick Dorman '75 was named president of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., effective July 1.

Class Reporter: Jane Wiedemann '78 Candela has been promoted to vice president of knowledge services at Packer Engineering Inc. in Naperville, Ill. Candela was also one of the 30 librarians selected in 2007 by the Illinois State Library to participate in Synergy: The Illinois Library Leadership Initiative. She and her husband, Vince, live in Palatine, Ill., near their two grown sons. Ed Clancy '78, president and chief operating officer of ACE Overseas General, has been named executive vice president of ACE Group Holdings, responsible for Global Accident and Health. In this newly expanded role, Clancy will be responsible for all of ACE's accident and health insurance businesses around the world, including Combined Insurance Company of America upon its closing next year. He also will be responsible for leading the integration efforts to ensure a smooth transition of Combined to ACE. 1979 Class Reporter:
