Class Reporter: Gretchen Anderson '03 completed her master's degree in public service management from DePaul University in March 2007. She teaches seventh and eighth grade math and science in Chicago Public Schools. Leah Bailor '03 married Scott Hane May 5, 2007, at the Susquehanna Valley Church of Christ in Selinsgrove, Pa. They are both employed at Highmark in Camp Hill, Pa., and live in Halifax, Pa. Melissa Strohecker '03 Gutkowski obtained her master's degree in social work from Marywood University in August. She is employed at Bucknell University as manager of externships/career consultant in the Career Development Center. Born to Craig '03 and Angie Feger '03 Lawver, twin daughters, Emma Virginia and Madelyn Rose, Oct. 20. They live in Frederick, Md. Born to Tony and Samantha Stoner '03 Maggio, a daughter, Rylee Rae, May 10. She joins twin siblings Brea and Breydon. Tony is a real estate analyst with Rite Aid Corporation. They live in Enola, Pa. Mark McCormick '03 is a foreign exchange analytics specialist for Bloomberg LP in New York City. He collaborated with the FX specialists in London and Hong Kong to create the Bloomberg analytics foreign exchange market manual. He authored an article featured in the September 2007 issue of Bloomberg Markets magazine, titled What Is the Carry Trade and How Is It Affected by Volatility? and one that will appear in the April or May edition, titled How Can I Use Options to Discern Exchange Rate Movements? Scott Paris '03 received a master's degree in chemistry from Villanova University in December 2007. He works for M-Scan Inc. in West Chester, Pa. Nick Ripatrazone '03 has a short story in the anthology The Long Meanwhile: Stories of Arrival and Departure from Hourglass Books. His fiction and poetry have also appeared in such publications as Eclectica, Aethlon: The Journal of Sport Literature, National Catholic Reporter and Blood Orange Review. He received a master's degree in literature from Rutgers University in 2005. Currently, he is pursuing a master of fine arts in creative writing from the University of Texas, El Paso. His wife, Jennifer Romero '05, teaches Spanish and Italian at Far Hills Country Day School in central New Jersey. She is pursing a master's degree in counseling from Montclair State University.
