Commencement

The most significant occasion in the life of Susquehanna University is Commencement, when we come together to celebrate the academic achievements of our students. May 10 was a spectacular occasion, a day graduates and their families should long remember with fondness and pride.
To the 426 members of the Class of 2009, you have my warmest congratulations. We do not bid farewell but charge you to go forth from Susquehanna as ambassadors ready and willing to make a difference. As alumni, you hold a central place in the university family, with many opportunities to stay connected to the people and place of your alma mater. Susquehanna is not only a place where you spent four important years of your life, but also a place you can consider home. Know that you are always welcome here.
Wave the orange and maroon high as you achieve, lead and serve in all of your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
L. Jay Lemons
President
