Job OpportunitiesTemporary Housekeeper FT, 40HPW, Benefits-Eligible. Susquehanna University seeks a temporary housekeeper who will report to the custodial supervisor. This position performs various semi-skilled tasks and cleans assigned areas daily. Work routines involve climbing stairs, step ladders, and ladders; bending; lifting and flipping mattresses; pushing and pulling wet mops, beds, dressers, containers of liquids, and vacuum sweepers; lifting filled trash bags and transporting to collection site; moving classroom desks and office chairs; walking; crawling on knees; and using continuous rotary and lateral hand and arm movement. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and push or pull up to 45 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be able to interpret instructions and maintain a flexible work schedule during certain periods of the year.
