Anna Beth Payne, Ph.D.
Associate Dean of Student Life
Director

Anna Beth earned her BA (Psychology) and MA (Counseling) from Duke University and her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. She is a licensed psychologist who has worked in counseling centers since 1982, with a particular emphasis in working with trauma and abuse. She also is interested in dream interpretation, positive psychology, and training and administration.

Andy Dunlap, LCSW
Counselor

Andy earned his B.A. (French language and literature) and his master's degree in social welfare from the University of Kansas. He has worked in college counseling since 1997. His current areas of professional interest include Narrative Therapy, Family systems work, EMDR, and genograms.

Cheryl Stumpf, LPC
Counselor and Coordinator of Health Education and Outreach

Cheryl is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has earned her B.S. (psychology) from York College of PA. She has a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University and certification in marriage and family therapy from Temple University. She provides the substance abuse counseling as well as general counseling on campus. Her hobbies include running road races, performing in community theater and enjoying life with her family.

Fred W. Strickland, Jr., M.D.
Consulting Psychiatrist

Dr. Strickland holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.D. from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his clinical residency in psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Cindy Frymoyer
Secretary

Cindy attended Williamsport Community College in 1986, where she earned an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science. She has worked in this field since graduation, taking a break to attend Bloomsburg University and Susquehanna University. As secretary to the Counseling Center, Cindy does the scheduling for the counselors and is also secretary to the Health Center.
