Counseling Services
Individual and Group Counseling
Short-term counseling services are available to Susquehanna University students free of charge. Ninety percent of our clients are seen 10 sessions or fewer. Services include individual counseling throughout the academic year while classes are in session. Group counseling may also be available, depending upon demand.
Students requiring longer-term counseling and students who wish to pursue counseling outside of the university are offered referrals to local clinicians. Students who opt to seek private counseling outside of the university will, of course, be responsible for these charges.

Alcohol and other drugs
We emphasize increased awareness and responsibility regarding the use of alcohol and other drugs. We work with students and faculty to provide a variety of engaging programs. Assessment and referral are available for students whose use may be of concern.
