REU in Mathematics
Susquehanna University is proud to host a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in mathematics. Eight undergraduates will participate in an intensive course of study and guided research in Quantum Information Theory. After a self-contained introduction to the subject, students will work with faculty mentors on selected problems of current interest, potentially leading to publishable results.
Each participant in the program receives a stipend of $400/week, in addition to room and partial board. Travel expenses to and from Susquehanna University are also covered. In addition, participants may receive funding to offset costs in presenting their results at a conference during the following academic year.
