Mathematical Sciences

The Department of Mathematical Sciences houses programs in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Students with a major or minor in mathematics take classes in the subfields of geometry, algebra, calculus, and statistics.  Students may also pursue a combined major of mathematics – secondary education, and prepare for secondary school teacher certification.

Students with a major or minor in computer science take classes that focus on the principles of computing, and courses range from elementary programming through more advanced fields of study.
