Facilities
Communications students will find everything they need to excel in the facilities at Susquehanna University. With the WQSU-FM radio station, students can get their hands on state-of-the-art 12,000-watt stereo equipment that can be heard to a 70-mile radius. This equipment includes a digitalized soundboard, multi-track production room and upgraded computers and software.
Students can also get a feel for the world of broadcast production in the two Apfelbaum Hall recording studios. The facilities include sophisticated equipment to offer students hands-on experience in program production, studio camera techniques, computer-generated graphics and special effects. A nonlinear video editing system accommodates both traditional video and high-definition television (HDTV).
