The Sigmund Weis School sponsors a dynamic program of distinguished speakers and visiting executives, which enriches students’ understanding of global business issues. Students interact with some of the most successful and forward-thinking business men and women in the U.S. and internationally.

Entrepreneurship Week
Becoming a university tradition, the school since 2007 has participated in this global initiative to inspire  entrepreneurial thinking and business-building.

Sigmund Weis Partners Lecture
Sigmund Weis Partners are regional business executives who take an interest in the school’s activities. They are invited twice a year to attend a dinner and special guest lecture on a current business issue. The spring dinner is followed by the Sigmund Weis Memorial Lecture.

Sigmund Weis Memorial Lecture
The annual lecture brings to campus a prominent figure from business and/or public life to speak on topical matters.  Past lecturers have included Vivian Banta of Prudential Financial, National Geographic explorer Lisa Ling and Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream fame.

“The Future of the Financial Services Industry” Panel
Four alumni experts gathered at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on Sept. 11 to present the panel discussion “The Future of the Financial Services Industry” before a group of Susquehanna alumni, students and staff.
