Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) uses the principles of free market economics to educate and improve the lives of others. Susquehanna’s team is part of an international nonprofit organization for students on more than 1600 college campuses in 40 countries that designs and implements projects to meet school and community needs. SIFE teams perform economic-based community service projects and present their projects at competitions. Through educational outreach projects, the SU SIFE team teaches important concepts, including market economics, entrepreneurship, personal and financial success, and business ethics.

Student Perspective:
“My participation in SIFE allows me to reach out to communities in need. I enjoy helping and teaching people, so it’s very rewarding to see children learning and understanding concepts from materials that I’ve developed. Not only are the students learning, but I’m learning too. I think that is what SIFE is all about.”
