GO Short Programs
Focus Australia
This is a program of study concentrating on the history, culture and biogeography of Australia. This program involves two courses (Biological Issues in Australia and Environmental Psychology) taken in the semester prior to a 22-day study tour of the island continent.
SU CASA (Central America Service Adventure)
SU CASA is a two-week, national award-winning service-learning and mission trip taught and led by SU Chaplain Mark Radecke. During the last two weeks of winter break, participants travel to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to serve at various mission sites.
PLUS (Philippines: Learning, Understanding and Service)
PLUS is a service-learning trip to the Philippines. The program includes educational, service and recreational components, all oriented around cultural immersion in the Philippines.
HRT (Hurricane Relief Team)
SU HRT is a service team consisting of approximately 20 students, faculty and staff who travel to the Gulf Coast to assist with Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts. Trips take place during winter, spring and summer breaks.
