The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced its 2008 NCAA Division III Academic Honor Roll on Aug. 10. The honor roll includes Susquehanna University's Cindy Wilson '09 (West Chester, Pa./Henderson HS) and Heather Linton '08 (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan Regional HS).

Wilson (left), a finance major and 2008 all-Landmark Conference second-teamer, was a defender for Susquehanna in 2008 and played in 15 games -- 14 starts -- while tying for the team lead with 36 ground balls. She also caused 19 turnovers, won 17 draw controls and scored two goals.

Linton (right), a communications major, started all 16 games for the Crusaders last season. A midfielder, she scored 28 goals and added five assists. Linton also scooped up 27 ground balls in 2008, won 28 draw controls and caused seven turnovers.

In addition to the IWLCA honor, Wilson and Linton were both part of the 2008 Landmark Conference spring academic honor roll.

To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have achieved at least junior status at her institution and have a minimum grade point average of 3.2.
