Blough-Weis Library
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service
This service is for use by the faculty, students and staff of
Susquehanna University. If you are uncertain of your eligibility, please
contact the ILL assistant Steve Naugle at naugle@susqu.edu or by phone at 4016 or the Blough-Weis Library reference desk at
4160.
Interlibrary loan should only be used after you have searched through
the resources in the Library's collection. Before requesting an ILL, search
the Blough-Weis Library's Online Catalog or check with
a librarian to be sure that we don't have what you need. Pennsylvania
Interlibrary Loan Code prevents us from borrowing a book the library owns
simply because it is checked out; if this is the case, please consult a
librarian about a recall of the desired title.
Fill out the form completely. Each
citation should be as complete as you can make it.
You must provide a telephone
number and Susquehanna University email address.
You will be notified by email when
your books or microforms arrive (microforms must be viewed in the
library).
Periodical articles will be sent to
you electronically using our Ariel Web
service or through campus mail; either way, the articles are yours to
keep.
You may check the status of your ILL by
logging on to our ClioWeb
service.
Renewals are sometimes possible.
They must be requested through the Interlibrary Loan Department
before the item's due date (see green wrapper for due date.)
If books are not returned or
renewed by the due date, a fine of $0.15 per item per day will be assessed from
that date.
